Andrew Mulligan Green (born July 7, 1977) is a former infielder who is currently the manager of the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball. After making his debut, he played second base, third base, shortstop, and in the outfield. He threw and batted right-handed, stood tall and weighed as an active player. He was a consistent .300 hitter in the minor leagues, won a Pacific Coast League MVP award, and played in the majors for three years with the Arizona Diamondbacks. After a year with the Nippon Ham Fighters in Japan, he played in the Cincinnati Reds organization and returned to the Major Leagues for a brief time in 2009 with the New York Mets. ==Playing career==
